Once you have been able to guest post at a handful of smaller blogs, you will be able to guest post at larger blogs. You will be able to create a presence in the blogging world.
3. Make sure that you write at least part of your guest post before you pitch it. Give the blogger a pitch of what you want to write about. Even if the post isn’t accepted, you will have a great article that you can use on your own blog. If you already have it written, it will give the author more motivation to feature your blog.
4. Make sure that it is your best work. You want to make sure that the blog that you write is interesting and something that people want to read.
5. Make sure that you publicize the guest post. If you do a good job of promoting the guest post, you will be able to show the author that it is a good idea to feature you as a guest writer. Make sure that you don’t comment with different usernames, the author will notice, and you won’t be asked to guest post again.

I don’t see myself guest blogging sometime soon. I can hardly keep up writing for my blogs. I know it’s good for marketing my blog. It’s not for me at this time.
